She came in with a beannie covering her head. She looked like a cancer patient and only appearing to be 18 years old. Look attentively at her sister's hair and attempting to touch those curls, wishing those were hers. She appeared to be happy but her eyes gave everything away. Deep in those dark brown eyes were regret, disappointment, sadness, pain and jealousy. She tried once, her sister moved away. She tried again, her sister moved even further. She tried for the last time, she touched it. She actually felt those soft and smooth hair that she once had. Her sis moved aways again , this time scolding her. Smiling, she withdrawed her hands and fiddled with her fingertips, reminiscing that moment. Her smile was so painful that even onlookers felt the pain. But all her sis did was continue talking as if nothing happened. The only thing she knew she could do was to smile and listen although her heart and mind wasn't with there. She couldn't hold the gaze at her sister, so she looked around, cautious of people starting at her. Staring at her was an 18 year old girl. The pain in the 18 year old girl had been dissolved. She saw how much pain the cancer girl was feeling that all her problems seemed to be less painful and it all disappeared. Thankful for that, she smiled at the girl. Once again cautious, she glanced away. This time looking right back at her sister's hair. This time her pain doubled. The pain could kill her. But, she was a brave girl, nothing would defeat her. Nothing at all. Not even cancer.
When she reached her stop, she walked out of the train together with the pain.
